A runner reportedly died over the weekend after competing in a half marathon at Disneyland.
Anaheim police shared that a man collapsed after crossing the finish line Sunday morning at Disneyland’s Halloween Half Marathon.
The runner, later identified as 35-year-old Bobby Graves, finished the race in a good time, under two hours, but started grabbing his chest and a worker ran over to attend to him, People reported.
First responders were already at the event and medics rushed to help Graves. Authorities said life-saving measures were performed and he was transported to the hospital.
However, the 35-year-old ultimately died.
The Orange County coroner’s office confirmed Graves’ death, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Graves, who went by his middle name Caleb in many of his videos shared on social media, was said to be an avid runner and fan of Disney. He shared his adventures with his followers, including him attending last weekend’s event.
Authorities shared that Graves had no known medical conditions before his unexpected death.
California was experiencing record high temperatures last week, with triple-digit heat reported in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office is currently handling Graves’ autopsy.
